Another of my earliest videos, (you can compare my setup to my recent videos too! plus, need i mention the confidence level? :))) )
anyway, i know that tuning is a vital part of being a kalimba player,
and though it may be included in the manual that some kalimbas arrive with,
having a visual demonstration is always helpful, especially to our friends who are visual learners.
anyway, i hope this helps you in having the perfect tone of your kalimba!
P.S.
not all kalimba hammers are the same,
i have one that has a metal component on one end and a rubber component on the other, which is why i do believe that the other end is not necessarily used to "separate" the tines.
though i do respect those who do claim this.
IF THAT IS WHAT WORKS FOR YOU, THEN SURE.
GO WITH THAT.
BUT PLEASE, ALSO RESPECT MY PERSPECTIVE.
i think we are matured enough to do that, right? :)
anyway,
i love you guys! <3
